
The horse's name is Cholla, named after the infamous desert cactus, he was born from a Mustang stallion and a Quarter Horse mare. Attempts to "break" this horse were not successful, and if anything, it made him more cantankerous, hence his prickly name.
However, he does have a soft artsy side. Rather than athletic interests, Cholla considers himself more of the artistic type, and he has been invited across the globe as his talents are becoming more widely acclaimed.
